NYPD OFFICERS RIP UNION PRESIDENT FOR DONATING TO LAWLESS KATHY HOCHUL
NYC PBA QUIETLY BACKS DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE OVER REPUBLICAN GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE LEE ZELDIN.
NYPD officers across New York City are ripping their union after they gave a $25,000 donation to Kathy Hochul’s gubernatorial campaign. According to her campaign filing, the NYC PBA made this donation on October 19, 2022.
The move comes just two years after the NYC PBA President Pat Lynch backed President Donald Trump in his 2020 re-election.
From the looks of it, the union has only donated to Hochul and not her opponent Congressman Lee Zeldin. A request for comment on this story was not returned by Zeldin’s campaign.
Members of the NYC PBA are enraged by Pat Lynch’s donation. One telling me, “ it feels like Lynch has given in to these lawless politicians. Regardless, Zeldin has my support.”
Another NYPD veteran told me, “as both a New Yorker and a police officer, the union’s support for Governor Hochul is disgraceful. The Governor has made the lives of each and every union member more dangerous and stressful through her allegiance to bail reform. Mr.Lynch (PBA President) has stood behind the podium and put on a show against vaccine mandates and bail reform. Meanwhile, behind our backs he has sold us out. Absolute betrayal.”
The NYC PBA did not return our request for comment.
During last week’s debate, Hochul brushed off concerns raised by Zeldin over the state’s surge in violent crime. Hochul saying, “I don’t know why that’s so important to you,'“ when Zeldin was discuss bail reform.

Hochul has been scrambling to preserve her lead in the polls by pretending to address the surge in crime. Hochul is now using the NYPD by forcing officers to work overtime to secure subways. Hochul’s push to secure the subways comes after polling data revealed that most New Yorkers are prioritizing the surge in crime when heading to cast their vote.
OPINION:
Hochul is toxic for New York. She only got involved in crime prevention when she saw her polling numbers. The reality is, no one in New York feels safe and rightfully so. The city has become a swamp for criminals. Appropriate punishments are never handed down. That is by design. Criminal Justice Reform is truly a Criminal Bill of Rights. It’s why I left New York in 2019. NYC residents would be foolish for siding with Hochul just because she has a D by her name. NYC liberals never miss an opportunity to pick emotions over logic.
Although I strongly disagree with Zeldin showing his vaccine permission slip to get on the primary debate stage earlier this year, he is the only candidate that will restore New York. If Lee Zeldin is not the winner of this year’s gubernatorial election, it’s over for New York.
Do we need anymore evidence that unions no longer serve the purpose they were first started for.
More proof that unions support communism and rely on their members being unaware of their misdeeds.
